The History Lesson
It's been said that in order to know where you're going to, you need to know where you're coming from. In my mind this adage applies to music just as it does to any other aspect of life. I order to fully appreciate and understand the music of today, we need to look to their influences of yesteryear. Yesterday's maestros shaped today's sound in a big way, especially in today's digital world which allows samples to be dropped in with a swing of the wrist and the click of a mouse.
So, I've decided to add this Biography section, which will trace the beginnings of some of the bands and musos featured on the blog. With the help of the band sites, fan sites and the all knowing wikipedia, I hope to keep this fresh and informative. If you have any cool bios or would like to see any band info up here, drop me a line and i'll see what I can do.
For now, keep it fresh
